What are Student Effort and Behavior Report (SEBR) scores and what do they mean?

On your student's report card you will see Academic Scores and SEBR scores and we want you to know what those mean. Academic Scores document your student's progess in meeting the learning standards for that subject that have been assessed so far. Student Effort and Behavior (SEBR) scores document classroom behaviors including: Organizational Skills, Time on Task, Assignment Completion, Quality of Work, and Respect. Years ago these may have been lumped into a grade in a subjective way as a participation score. While good classroom behaviors all lead to successful learning, we've chosen to separate them from Academic Scores to document learning and behaviors separately.
