World of Change Coming Soon!

Coming up, we are going to be kicking off another World of Change charity drive! For those that don't remember WoC or weren't here last year, World of Change is an organization that facilitates charitable giving - we bring in the change, they'll come collect it and pass on 100% of it to the charities of our choice - they do not keep a penny of it. As implied by their name, we just bring in our spare change and they will give it to charity (they accept bills too!). Last year we raised over $1,000 dollars for charity!!!! Each grade will choose a couple of our charities for a total of 6 charities, one each in the categories of Food, Housing, Health, Education, Animals & Nature, and Play. This is also going to be a competition - grades will be competing for who can raise the most money. Students and staff from any grade can contribute to any of the six charities they like, the competition is for what grade can bring in the most change, not which charity receives the most. Collection bins will be in the Social Studies classrooms! Please hype this with your students! The plan is to start as soon as the charities are all picked and run until just before April break.
