From the Front Office: Masks optional starting Monday, March 7th. Please remember to be respectful of people whose choices are different from your own. Masks may be off but we must be respectful of each other’s personal space and still stay home if we do not feel well. Please do not come to school if you have a sore throat, cough, fever, headache, stomach ache, body aches, or any combination.
Remind your student to sign in at the office if they are arriving after 7:40.
If your student is going to be out for any reason, please call into the office at 338-3320 and leave a message, email thmsoffice@rsu71.org or go to the parent portal and request the absence there.
March Madness - 3/11: Dress like your favorite Disney Character or Superhero - 3/17: Wear Green - 3/18 Pajama Day - 3/25: Color Wars - 6th Grade wear Purple/Red/Pink, 7th Grade wear Yellow/Orange. Grade with most participation each Friday gets first dismissal for the following week.
Sports Corner
Wrestling is off to a good start. We have competed in two meets-5 teams overall and have won as a team in both. The next meet is Saturday 3/12 at CRMS. See TeamReach for details. Practices are Monday thru Thursday 4pm to 5pm at BAHS. There is a van that can take up to 14 students over from THMS around 3:15. They may wait with Mrs. Seekins at THMS until the van leaves. See Mrs. Seekins if you have any questions.
Unified Basketball has started. Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays right after school at THMS. A BIG thank you to Downeast CU and Colburn Shoe for their support of our Unified Team.
SPRING SPORTS: Baseball (grades 7 & 8) , softball (grades 6-8) and track and field (grades 6-8) will be starting soon. Signups will begin Friday 3/11/22 at lunch. We are still looking for coaches so reach out if you have any interests. Applications are available online. Our plan is to have two softball teams and two baseball teams. Pitchers and catchers practices will be starting 3/21 pending coaching availability.
