THMS WEEKLY NEWSLETTER March 14-18, 2022

   THMS WEEKLY NEWSLETTER

March 14-18, 2022

From the Front Office: As we welcome spring we need to remember what spring in Maine is like-in a word, MUDDY.  We do try to get outside each day and ask students to stay out of the mud when possible.

Cell phone use during the school day is with permission of staff. We encourage students to limit communication so that they can focus on learning. Parents can support this by also limiting messages during the academic day. Students may check and respond to messages in the first 5 minutes of their lunchtime. We are happy to assist students in solving any issues that they are experiencing. Seeking support and solving their own problems is developmentally appropriate at this age and helps to build resilience. Click on the link to see our full cell phone protocol: THMS Cell Phone Protocol

8th graders:  If you have any questions or concerns regarding your 9th grade schedule, see your advisor or guidance counselor.  These are now past due.

Remind your student to sign in at the office if they are arriving after 7:40.

If your student is going to be out for any reason, please call into the office at 338-3320 and leave a message, email thmsoffice@rsu71.org or go to the parent portal and request the absence there.
